Local Weather Forecasts via SMS

Receive the latest local weather forecast as a text message to your mobile for just 25p.

No need to register, pay up-front or subscribe. Use Weathercall SMS as and when you want to.

Simply text in the location, wait a couple of moments, and the forecast you have requested will appear in your Inbox.

There are two kinds of forecast to chose from -

5-DAY OUTLOOK FORECASTS: These give today’s weather and an outlook for the following 4 days.  View the UK locations available.

To receive your forecast -

* Create a text message
* Type WC 5DAY plus the name of the LOCATION
* Send to 83141

TODAY FORECASTS: These give the current weather outside and an outlook for 5-hours time and include temp, wind speed/direction and significant weather.

To receive your forecast -

* Create a text message
* Type WC Today plus the name of the LOCATION
* Send to 83141

DAILY FORECAST ALERTS: If you would like a forecast delivered daily before 8.30am insert the word ‘sub’ into your next SMS request, i.e. WC 5DAY SUB Southampton.

WAP and MMS FORECASTS: It is with regret that with effect from 30th June 2007 Weathercall will no longer operate its WAP and MMS mobile services.  Customers that previously used these services may find our Met Office telephone forecasts very useful and better value. Text forecasts cost 25p, and are subject to network operator standard text charges. Available to all mobile networks. If the data used to power SMS is subject to delay, your message will be supplied with the latest update as soon as available if within 3 hours. If not, you will not be charged for the forecast.
