A mixture or sunshine and showers. Light breezes.
Damp, at times, across the Northern Isles. Otherwise, a bright start after the clearance of patchy mist. A few showers will develop, more so for the higher ground. It will feel pleasant enough in the sunshine and the light winds.
Rain spreading from Orkney to Shetland. Otherwise, a fine evening. Rain developing across the southwest by midnight, then spreading north to Central, Tayside and Fife. Turning misty across East Highland.
Rain will continue to spread northwards to reach Shetland by the evening, Bright, sunny or clear spells and showers will follow from the southwest. Feeling warm in any sunshine.
Outlook for Saturday to Monday:
Bright or clear spells and showers, some heavy and perhaps thundery and more so across the northwest and west. The best of the sunshine will be found across the east.
